Packaging tape printed with the word FRAGILE runs through the surface, painted over, distorted and broken open. What the label claims and what the object does are not the same thing.

Acrylic, ink and liquid gold leaf worked over and into the tape, giving the canvas a dense physical surface with real depth to it.
