Still Life with Heads

Contrary to popular social behaviour, I have never been nor will ever be fond of receiving cut flowers as a gift. I've always felt sorry for them withering away and dying in a vase without any other purpose than to look beautiful for our passing enjoyment. I know they go through the same process, eventually, in nature too, but with a purpose. Here I offer you a transposed version, from a different universe.
